Good tidings, substack subs, hope you are enjoying a lovely summer! I’ve been enjoying our freakish rainforest-esque hot and rainy days in Glasgow. I have caught a cold though, probably not helped by going out in t-shirts every day and inevitably getting drenched. Anyway, in this newsletter update I have early access to July booking in Glasgow and London for all of you nice people, some un-posted flash that’s been living in my procreate folders, and some things I’m doing I’d like you to know about. Also a li’l bit of chatting :-p
JULY DATES + BOOKING
In July, I’ll be working Wednesday through Saturday every week in Glasgow, but I’m also open to doing other days if none of those work for you. Just pop a note in the last section of the form and I’ll see what I can do.
I’ll be back in London too, woohoo! I’ll be working the 30th and 31st, plus the 1st and 2nd of August. Can’t wait to be back :-)
I’ll probably keep the form open for a couple of days, then close it til my books open for everyone else. So get in fast!
NEWS !
Firstly, I’ll be at Glasgow Zine Fest selling some prints and swag on July 5th and 6th at Tramway. It’s open between 11am - 6pm both days and there will be loads of stalls with cool stuff to flip through and admire. I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone will be showing off :-)
Also, my grad film Midnight at Mickey’s will be screening at Queen’s Park Arena on July 17th, alongside The Grand Budapest Hotel! I love going to the outdoor cinema there every year so it’s very exciting that my own wee film will be showing (in the same festival as Azealia Banks no less (I think she has since cancelled her appearance this year but isn’t that wild to think about??)). If you’d like to come and see what I make outside of my tattooing work, you can get a ticket below. I think you can get free tickets? The pricing system is unclear to me but I hope to see ya there!
I’ll also be having a little solo exhibition (my first ever btw!) at Verse in July. Opening date tba, but I’ll have some prints up as well as that painting you may remember me talking about many months ago. It’ll be on til the end of August(? again tbc) so drop by and get a yummy drink sometime.
NEW FLASH
Here’s a little unfinished sheet for you. Thanks for looking :-)
SOME NICE THINGS
I did a trade recently with one of my favourite painters, Orla Kane. I got this beautiful painting in exchange for a tat. Have a look! I love it.
I also did my first tramp stamp yesterday. It was so fun and I’m jazzed about how it turned out. Thanks Jess!!!

I also saw this nice bug and found out it’s a ladybird larvae, it’s so wicked cool looking. Being spiky is so random. I showed this picture to my flatmate and she got scared because she thought it was exotic/poisonous.
Thanks :-)
